George Strait is retiring from doing concerts.

I am HEARTBROKEN!

But HOPEFULLY he'll continue to make music. At least we still have an incredible collection of songs we can listen to forever and here are few of my favorites!

#1: MY FAVORITE: Unwound
His very first single! It reached the top ten and there has been no looking back!

#2: Christmas Cookies
I LOVE hearing this song during the holiday season (and I LOVE cookies!).

#3: Ace in the Hole
His band is THE BEST in the business! They are the tightest band I have ever heard and they can play anything!

#4: Amarillo by Morning
This song reminds me of 'By the Time I Get to Phoenix' by Glen Campbell. A little happier but I love songs about specific places.

#5: The Chair
What woman doesn't love this song? The chance meeting of true love in a smokey bar and being asked to dance by a handsome stranger? Another Strait hit written by Dean Dillon who has written more songs for George Strait than any other writer!
