Singer Leslie Gore Dies
In the 1960’s one of the hottest female singer-songwriters was teen sensation Leslie Gore. Ms. Gore passed away of lung cancer at the age of 68 at New York University Langone Medical Center.
In 1963, Gore, topped the charts with ‘It’s My Party’, ‘Judy’s Turn To Cry’ and ‘You Don’t Own Me’. In 2005 she released her first album in 30 years called ‘Ever Since’ but still performed her old hits when performing in concerts.
