Skowhegan Students After-School Club Helps Community With Snow Shoveling
The 21st Century after-school program at Skowhegan Area High School is shoveling walkways and driveways in the Skowhegan community, lending a hand to those in need.
Jim Goodwin, the site coordinator, says that he is very impressed with the students. The group is around twenty-five members strong.
Some of the students say that it's a good way to make new friends and help those in the community.
The club isn't just about shoveling snow, it's works on numerous community service projects during the year.
