Many Mainers may have a tough time with Thanksgiving Day travel this week. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for much of Maine.

The timing of the storm could not be worse for those of us planning to travel Wednesday after work.

The storm watch is starting at 1p.m. on Wednesday and is in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

Most of the state is looking at receiving at least 6 inches of snow and as much as a foot of the white stuff.

That comes after two record setting days in Portland, which set a record high temperature both on Monday and Tuesday.

Are you looking forward to the snow?
