There are quite a few billionaires in the world; some have worked hard to amass their fortune, others have been lucky enough to inherit theirs. Here is a list some of those billionaires that have not had to work a day in their life but since they received their money have done some good with it.

Athina Onassis, the granddaughter of the late Aristotle Onassis, she was named heir of his estate at the age of 3, but had to wait until adulthood in 2003 to claim her money. She is the youngest billionaire in the world. She is worth $1 billion.

Yvonne Bauer inherited her wealth through the Bauer Media Group, though she didn’t amass the fortune she is currently on the board of directors of the company. She is worth $2 billion.

Scott Duncan is 30 years old and became the first person to inherit that amount of money and not have to pay any estate tax because of a loophole in the estate taxation laws. He is worth $4.7 billion.

The richest of the inherited is Jacqueline Mars, the granddaughter of Frank Mars who founded the Mars candy bar company. She spends a lot of time doing charitable work, as many on this list do, and she is the vice president of the U.S. Equestrian Team. She is worth  $20.5 billion.
