Staci Creech Wins Third Amateur Championship

Staci Creech who plays out of the Bangor Municipal Golf Course won her third consecutive Maine Women’s Amateur Championship.

Creech show three round total of 4-over 217 beating runner-up Bailey Plourde of Newcastle by 5 strokes. Plourde who is only 17 years old was the runner-up last year too.

Creech held a three-stroke advantage after the first two rounds and was able to extend it despite shooting her highest score of the tournament. According to bangordailynews, Creech finished the 72 hole tournament with 5 birdies, 58 pars and 9 bogeys.
