Super Game, Super Season

Many Mainers are going to head into work a little tired, maybe with a sore throat but with a smile on their face. New England Patriots fans ran the gambit of emotions during Super Bowl XLIV.

The big game lived up to it's billing. The ending of the game was frighteningly similar to the Super Bowl loss against the New York Giants, with the David Tyree helmet catch.

Rookie Malcolm Butler intercepted the ball on the goal line to secure an exciting 28-24 win for the New England Patriots.

I'll admit there were some word coming out of my mouth near the end of the game that I could not say on air. Something in the affect of 'we going to blanking lose a game like this again, plus we have another blanking foot of snow tomorrow!'

Then the unbelievable! That interception. Cue the happy dance! Still not thrilled with another snow storm though.
