The man of steel is coming to Ohio as an aluminum license plate. The State is selling Superman license plates with the super ‘S’ on them to recognize the Superman comic book being created in Ohio. Starting this month plates will be available for an extra $20, plus the annual renewal few, and will come with the Superman logo, name, and the words ‘Truth, Justice, and the American Way’.

The plates are to pay homage to Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, the two Cleveland, Ohio, natives that created the Superman comic. Some of the proceeds from the sale of the plates will go to benefit the Siegel Shuster Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the commemorating the creation of Superman in Cleveland.
