Though it's not due until February 1, 2013, we're pumped for the return of Walter Hill with 'Bullet to the Head.' The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Sung Kang and Jason Mamoa in - what looks to be - a no-nonsense action movie. It's been a while since we've had one of those that wasn't PG-13. Now there's a UK trailer.

Here's the synopsis:

Based on a graphic novel, “Bullet to the Head” tells the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners.

Walter Hill has always had a way with odd partnerships (he wrote the book with his '48 Hrs.'), and this synopsis reminds us that Hill was once scheduled to direct a remake of John Woo's 'The Killer' (but we're glad that fell apart). It's also nice to see Sung Kang get work outside of the 'Fast and Furious' franchise. Though 'Fast Five' offered many great elements, his performance and character stood out as one of the brightest spots.

We're hoping this is another solid entry from one of the greatest action directors in the history of cinema. But we'll know for sure next year. Here's that U.K. trailer:
