In a season where critics have said the talent wasn't up to par, the top eight all seemed to put it all together for a very good show last night! The theme was 'From Then To Now', the top eight sang the same song from their initial auditions. Here's my recap.

The American Idol results show was cut to thirty minutes and the pace of the show was much better. They still had time to introduce the judges, show a video of the contestants and their comments after the performance show on Wednesday and have a musical guest. Oh, plus they got to the results. So, what happened?

American Idol's top nine had the theme this week of 'I'm With The Band'. Kind of lame theme, it looked like it was trending towards 'rock' week, but Dexter sang Little Big Town, so I'm not really sure what the theme was. Anyway, the performances overall were better this week. Here's my recap.
