What a great idea this video is. French photographer Xavier Hubert-Brierre travelled to Gabon with his wife and set up a mirror in several locations in order to capture animals walking by. The results are amazing and funny.

  If you’re an animal lover like me you’re going like this video. For some reason some of these animals really cracked me up.        

Saw a PBS special about unusual friendships in the animal kingdom. Animals that wouldn’t normally be considered ‘friends’ like a tortoise and a goose, a cheetah and a dog or a goat and a blind horse.

Found this video of 'funny fails'. ‘It encompasses summer, winter, humans and animals. It’s amazing that some of the people in this video didn’t get seriously hurt. It just goes to show you try ‘dumb’ things, you look dumb in the end.

We've been living through the coldest month ever recorded in many Maine communities. Also, the amount of snowfall this past month has been record setting as well. Many of us have had difficulty driving in the snow, heating our homes and so on.

As scientists continue to study animals and learn more all the time, they are finding that animals are smarter than we think. Of course they’re not as smart as humans but that doesn’t mean, in their own way, they’re not smart.

This was so sad to start out and then joyful..the 'tail' of Mr. G and Jellybean. Thanks to the Animal Place for sharing the story of friendship between a donkey and goat.

The National Zoo gave a group of Asian small-clawed river otters an electric keyboard. Some enjoyed this more than others. They call it an animal enrichment program. The zookeepers do things to give the animals some physically and mentally stimulating activities and environments for the animals. Not sure all such programs are this cute, but this sure is.

Who knew! But there is the list from Time Magazine. One of my favorites are on the list. The LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs.

T.V Guide Magazine picked their top 60 T.V. animals of all time. They limited their picks to one animal per show including live animals and cartoon characters. Dogs took 3 of the top five spots and here are five through one:

We recently came across some information about the CIA attempting to turn cats into some sort of half cat - half robot thingy to spy on suspicious people in the 1960's.

Some people express confusion over Americans celebrating Cinco de Mayo, when it's not even that big of a deal in Mexico. We express confusion over people turning down an excuse to eat tacos and sip tequila until the sun comes up/you've gone cross-eyed. Not to mention, did you see that photo? That is a capybara wearing a fake mustache. We rest our case.

Sure, they could swim, but why not take a ride if it's there?

If you love watching videos of animals yelling like humans, but were worried the whole goat thing was getting a little bit played out, this is the video for you.

Supposedly this is the war cry of the Namaqua Rain Frog, but honestly, it's not very intimidating. It seems to be more of a "cry for help" cry, the kind you make when things are about to turn ugly. Then again, we don't know how anything could be as ugly as this frog...

Here it is, folks -- your daily distraction from whatever horrid employment you might find yourself in. Luckily, if you're caught watching this you won't be there much longer. Hooray! You can thank us later as you pack up your cubicle.
