When you think of a banana you might think of a banana split, banana bread, but smoking a banana peel? Administrators at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn have ordered the kitchen staff to peel bananas before they're served to inmates, and the jail has also stopped serving oranges all together. Why?

I'm 38 years old. Anderson is 6. I remember watching 'Mr. Roger's Neighborhood' and the one episode that I always remember is the one where Mr. Roger's made a peanut butter and banana boat sandwich.

I wanted one so bad but we never bought bananas when I was a kid. So, I never had one. Until NOW!

Billa supermarket chain, which owns stores in nine European countries and has a slogan that promotes common sense, found itself being criticized for selling 'pre peeled' bananas. Yes, pre peeled, as in no slipping on a banana peel because there isn't one. I know we have all struggled for hours on end trying to peel a banana (they can be so difficult sometimes, he says smiling). The bananas are peeled, put on a cardboard tray and wrapped in cellophane.
