The bench-clearing brawl this week between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres was one of the biggest and most costly in years. Dodger's pitcher Zack Greinke has a broken collarbone and Padre's hitter Carlos Quinten has been suspended for 8 days. The scrum got us thinking about some of the battles the Red Sox have been involved in. The most notable, Jason Varitek taking down Alex Rodriguez in 2003.
