After his battle with Alzheimer’s disease Glen Campbell died yesterday (Aug.8) at the age of 81. Campbell not only was a star in country music but also pop music, television and films. Campbell started his career in Los Angeles as a studio musician and played on recording for The Monkees, Dean Martin, Merle Haggard, Simon and Garfunkel and more. According to tasteofcountry.com he went on to become a superstar with a sting of hit songs from 1967 to 1976. No funeral plans have be announced.
