College football bowl games will take a rest on Christmas Day but the day after there are three games scheduled. The Quick Lane Bowl from Detroit will pit Rutgers (7-5) against North Carolina (6-6). Rutgers during the regular season rallied from a 35-10 deficit against Maryland to win 41-38, the biggest comeback in school history.

It’s already week 10 in college football and some were calling this week ‘elimination week’. Team vying for the top four spots in the first ever college football playoffs could not afford to lose this weekend. Unfortunately for one team in the top 5, they lost.
