cross-country skiing

The Maine State Parks is offering winter fun with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at State Parks throughout the winter. Going on now through February 3, 2015 there is cross-country skiing and snow shoeing at Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park in Freeport.

We are almost one month into winter and after a cold and snowy start we have received a nice little January thaw. It's been great with enough snow for skiers and to snowmobile without it being a very harsh winter. Of course, we still have two months of winter left!
