Tide Laundry Detergent Theft On the Rise

There has been a huge spike in the theft of Tide laundry detergent over the past year. Authorities are reporting a spike in thefts of Tide. Police believe thieves are using the detergent on the black market, which retails for ten to twenty dollars, to buy drugs.

Well, the number of pharmacy robberies in now at 53 for the Pine Tree State. The CVS pharmacy on Capital Street in Augusta was robbed of drugs for the second time this month and for the third time this year. It’s the second time in three days an Augusta drug store had been hit.
