We fall back to standard time this Sunday morning at 2 a.m.. the good news is we get an extra hour of sleep, the bad news is that the sun sets at 4:30 p.m.
With daylight savings time coming to an end this Sunday morning. It got me wondering how did it start in the first place? It's a popular belief that the first idea of daylight savings time was conceived by Benjamin Franklin in 1784. He published an essay titled 'An Economical Project for Diminshing the Cost of Light' it proposed to economize the use of candles by rising earlier to make use of th
