As we Mainers know, the kickoff of "spring" on the calendar doesn't always align with springtime activities. That did not turn out to be the case this year, allowing disc golf, along with traditional golf courses, to start their seasons early.

An enormous amount of people took part in this massive disc golf tournament in Lewiston, all to benefit the city's victims following the tragic events in October.

It all starts tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 23. Sabattus Disc Golf will host The Professional Disc Golf Association's 2016 United States Women's Disc Golf Championship. The event runs through the weekend.
