Dismantling of Mobile Meth Lab in Ellsworth Leads to Suspicious Device
According to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, after last week's mobile meth lab bust in Ellsworth, the MDEA's Downeast District Task Force and Clandestine Drug Laboratory Enforcement Team (CDLET) found a suspicious device in one of the labs not consistent with Methamphetamine manufacturing that led to assistance from the Maine State Police Bomb Squad.

Well, the New York Police Department wants pharmacies in and around NYC to fight prescription drug thefts by stocking pill bottles fitted with GPS tracking chips. With so many pharmacy robberies in Maine last year, we can see where this is a good idea.

A random drug search at Gardiner High School, resulted in charges of the sale and use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful drug possession. 44-year old, Tyson Greifzu of Fayette, a math teacher at Gardiner High School since 2000 was charged along with two 16-year old boys.
