'America's Got Talent' finals featured the remaining six contestants, four are singers, and they each got to perform twice during the finals last night. Former country artist Emily West, who lost her record deal, gave two stunning vocal performances.

Emily West was once an up-and-coming country artist. She had a record deal with Capitol Records and an album in 2007. Emily had two songs that cracked the top 40 country chart. 'Rock In My Shoes' in 2008 and 'Blue Sky' with Keith Urban in 2010. She then lost her record deal and has rekindled her career as a top 12 finalist this season on 'America's Got Talent'.

I was watching 'America's Got Talent' and a singer came out on stage, it was Emily West, now I know that name, then it came to me. Emily has a brief recording career in Nashville. She moved to Nashville from Iowa in 2000 and had a record deal with Capitol Nashville.
