Source: WalletHub The colder weather is right around the corner and I plan on buttoning up my house this weekend. For me, that involves putting in the storm windows, plastic on the inside of my living room windows and plastic over the skirting of one corner of my mobile home.

Even though heating oil prices are down a lot lower this season, we still try to be energy efficient and save money where we can. So, how is Maine doing compared with the rest of the nation?
