ABC's daytime drama, General Hospital, is celebrating it's 50th anniversary and many stars from the shows past keep returning to the show. The latest to be returning is Rick Springfield, who has played Dr.Noah Drake, off and on since 1981.

Sources tell TV Guide Magazine that Jack Wagner has signed a deal with ABC to return to 'General Hospital' and has already been secretly shooting on the set of the soap. This has been part of an avalanche of past cast members returning to 'General Hospital' for it's 50th anniversary.

With more drama than a daytime soap opera, three actors currently on 'General Hospital' will be heading back to the online revamping of 'One Life To Live'. 'One Life To Live' last aired on ABC on January 13, 2012, also, longtime soap 'All My Children' was cancelled in 2011 by ABC. The production company 'Prospect Park' had planned to launch the two cancelled soaps around this time last year but plans had fallen through.

Longtime General Hospital fan favorite, Steve Burton, who played 'hit man' Jason Morgan is rumored to be joining The Young and The Restless. Burton who played Jason Morgan for 21 years on General Hospital, left the show in September. He had cited that he wanted to relocate to Nashville with his wife and kids for a better quality of life.
