Joe-4-Oil is Opening 250 Spots for 100 Gallons of Heating Oil

Here is some good news! Joe-4-Oil, the Citizens Energy Oil Heat Program, is giving Spectrum Generations access for 250 applications for a one-time delivery of 100 gallons of home heating oil designated for central Maine families. It is all based on some income guidelines.

Last Year's Mild Winter Hurting Those Who Receive Heating Assistance

Last year was a mild winter, this winter has been colder and has seen much more snow. This in turn has meant spending more to heat our homes. Families in central Maine that rely on heating assistance are receiving less assistance than last year, due in part to, the mild winter we had last year.
