Paul LePage Sunday proclaimed Monday to be the Martin Luther King, Jr. 'Day of Service.' The governor says the Martin Luther King holiday was designated as a national day of volunteer service when it was first enacted back in 1994 and it's the only federal holiday commemorated as a national day of service.
