They were able to locate his tracks on Moosehead Lake and follow them back near the mouth of the Moose River, a spot infamous for its unstable and often thin ice.
There will be two great events for snowmobile enthusiasts coming up at Moosehead Lake on the weekend of March 2 and 3. It all begins on Saturday, March 2 with the Maine Amateur Championship Cross Country Snowmobile Race.
