Without the expressions and the palpable tension between characters, songs from 'Nashville' lose their edge. Flaws otherwise hidden by the drama step forward to dilute your favorite moments from the ABC drama.

More new music from ABC's 'Nashville' debuted during Wednesday (Dec. 6) night's episode. Gunnar and Juilette had the most memorable solo performances with two songs written specifically for the show. 'When the Right One Comes Along' may have stolen the episode, as it set up the increasing love tension between the actor and Scarlett, played by Clare Bowen.

'Nashville' star Hayden Panettiere was involved in a two-car accident earlier this month, caused by her alleged failure to stop at a red light and the other driver's improper merge. No one was seriously hurt, but both the BMW and a Geo Prism were towed from the scene.

Season 1, Episode 7 of 'Nashville' featured three original songs, one of which was written by a star of the ABC drama. The music from the show continues to come from top Nashville songwriters, both legends and newcomers. It's a special blend that keeps you leaning toward the television to hear the next surprise tune.

The drama seems to be mounting on 'Nashville,' with news that Kimberly WIlliams-Paisley will reprise her role as the devious Peggy Samper for at least three of the final nine episodes of the ABC series' first season.

If you can't get enough of the music on ABC's 'Nashville,' you're in luck. Powerhouse country label Big Machine Records -- home of Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw -- will release an 11-song soundtrack for the popular new drama on Dec. 11.
