This off season in the NFL has been head spinning. Many major players leaving via free agency or by trade. It sure seems that the New England Patriots are losing many key players after winning the Super Bowl this year.
The New England Patriots start the regular season this Sunday in Buffalo and they are expected to sign Enfield, Maine native Matt Mulligan to a contract. Mulligan is a former University of Maine football player and also played at Husson University in Bangor.
The New York Jets cut quarterback Tim Tebow on Monday. The decision came just two days after the Jets drafted quarterback Geno Smith from West Virginia University. The Jets already had five quarterbacks on their roster, so the cut wasn't surprising.
