It's been an interesting few days for LeAnn Rimes. Wednesday it was announced that she would headline a show at the Oxford Fair. Thursday she admitted herself into rehab for stress management. Now, she has filed a lawsuit with the L.A. County Superior Court against Kimberly and Lexi Smiley, two woman who allegedly recorded a conversation with Rimes in an effort to create a smear campaign against the singer.
One day after celebrating her 30th birthday, LeAnn Rimes announced she will be taking 30 days off to “cope with anxiety and stress” in an in-patient treatment facility. Yesterday it was also announced that she would be performing at the Oxford Fair on September 15th. According to that statement in the online edition of People, “The country star — who has been gearing up for the upcoming release of her latest studio album, ‘Spitfire,’ and a fall tour — will continue to perform in September during breaks from treatment.”
