Julie Leech of Three Rivers, Michigan was introduced by lottery officials as the lucky winner of last week's $310.5 million Powerball game.

The Powerball jackpot is estimated to be $550 million dollars for this Saturday's drawing, with the cash option at an estimated $350 million dollars. This would be the second largest jackpot in Powerball history, the largest was last November, when a $587.5 million jackpot was won.

Over the weekend a $2 million Powerball ticket was sold at the Canaan Superette. The winner matched five numbers and turned the $1 million prize into $2 by playing the Power Play option.

On Wednesday, the Powerball lottery reached a record $587.5 million. So far two winning tickets have been announced, one in Arizona and one in Missouri.
