			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>According to a new <a href="http://www.gallup.com/home.aspx" target="_blank">Gallup Poll</a>, Mississippi remains as the state with the most religious people in the country. In a national poll, 58% of the state’s population claimed to be very religious while Vermont was on the low end of the spectrum with only 19%.  The entire southern belt of the U.S. had 8 of the 10 most religious states in the country.  Alabama was 3rd, Louisiana 4th, Arkansas 5th, followed by South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia. The only two most religious states not in the south are Utah at #2 and Oklahoma at #10.</p>
