A few weeks ago we were intrigued to hear that 'The Saint' was to be revived as a new series with former 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and genre darling Eliza Dushku, particularly with former 'Saint' and 007 Roger Moore producing. Now, we've gotten word Moore himself will appear in the series (which lacks a network yet), along with fellow former 'Saint' Ian Ogilvy. We've long held a special place in our hearts for Eliza Dushku, even if TV series like 'Tru Calling' or 'Dollhouse' never quite managed to find their footing. After all, there can never be enough ass-kicking babes on TV, but now we hear that Dushku has signed on to take part in yet another adaptation of 'The Saint' to be co-produced by James Bond himself, Roger Moore. Roger Moore turns 82 on October 14, 2012, probably best known for his role as 007, James Bond. The first Bond film was Dr. No in 1962 with Sean Connery and still considered the best 007 film. Connery played Bond in five movies, his last in 1971 with ‘Diamonds Are Forever’. In 1969, George Lazenby starred in ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’, his only Bond film. Roger Moore became the third to take over spy duties with ‘Live and Let Die’ which was a box office hit raking in $126.4 million.
