Although much of last night's SNL was fairly standard (albeit, very funny) stuff, there was one sketch where it felt like host Zach Galifiankis was allowed to run wild. The scene found the 'Hangover' star playing the host of a public access TV show about how to entertain guests in your home and...well...let's just say that you have to watch it.

Some SNL hosts just feel like they were born to be on that stage and Zach Galifiankis is one of them. Rather than do a traditional monologue, he performed six minutes of his oddball, avant garde stand-up comedy. It was a great reminder that he may be a big movie star now, but he's still one of the great modern comedians.

Even after all of these years, SNL does fake commercials better than everyone else. However, last night's New Balance commercial parody is the cream of the crop -- it's hard to remember the last time the show made a fake ad that was this funny and spot-on. Check it out below.

SNL Presents: The Weather Channel's First Soap Opera

Although last night's episode of SNL was filled with hit-and-miss sketches, one of the best moments was easily the strangest thing in the entire episode. The sketch imagines the Weather Channel creating its own soap opera and the results are about as strange (and often, as funny) as you'd imagine.

SNL: Vince Vaughn Mingles With the Audience

Last night's SNL saw saw Vince Vaughn hosting for the second time...although it's been fifteen years since he last graced this particular state. For his opening monologue, the 'Swingers' and 'Wedding Crashers' star didn't do anything traditional, opting to do what he does best: riff. And with no Owen Wilson around, Vaughn turned to the audience to be his comedic sparring partner.

SNL: Bill Hader's Al Pacino Plays Every Murderer Ever For HBO

SNL knows that it is a good thing in Bill Hader's wonderfully deranged Al Pacino impression and they put it to good use on last night's episode, having the incredibly talented performer play Pacino playing multiple roles. Parodying Pacino's involvement in HBO films like 'You Don't Know Jack' and 'Phil Spector,' the sketch finds Hader's Pacino making HBO biopics where he plays every convicted murderer under the sun.
