My family is like clockwork on the couch at 7pm. We all watch 'Wheel of Fortune' together. I'm actually signed up as a 'Wheel Watcher'! Then we get ready for some 'Jeopardy'! Exciting, right? Anywho...the returning champion, Artrhur, made a crazy wager. Even Alex Trebek laughed!

I saw this yesterday and instantly went to my credit card statement to see if I had been charged! Luckily for me, it didn't happen. But did it happen to YOU?

We had Damian Veilleux talking about MURDER in our studio yesterday and were we excited! You see, he and his crew at Catharsis Media are on the verge of filming a dramatic movie right here in Maine and he's going to need YOUR help in a couple of ways! If you're a lucky woman like I am, you have a man who likes your cooking. Sometimes, you make something that they are like "We need to have this every week!" It makes you feel good. Chad does that to me and every time he does, I'm ecstatic! But SOMETIMES, a man needs his Mom's home cookin'. Am I right? That's why I'm glad I got a VERY SPECIAL gift for Christmas!

There aren't many times Randy and I get to hang out after work. Sure, we do remotes together and we've been to our fellow employees weddings, but we never get to hang out. But we did Saturday night! And it was fun!

Chad and I eat out very little. We might grab a pizza to go at a few places but we're mostly homebodies. When we read the article in the Portland Press Herald this morning we were SHOCKED! At least 5 restaurants we have been to in the past year have FAILED inspection according to the Maine State Health Inspectors. And one of them had to close! I think I counted 25 Chinese restaurants!

I know this happens to people all the time: You are getting ready to do laundry and you find $1 in the back pocket! Or you look at the bottom of your purse and you find $5. Well, I found the best thing ever!

Why not? Columbus took a chance, as my mother used to say. And you never know...Luke Bryan or Miranda Lambert could one day be singing one of YOUR songs! If you're a songwriter, check this out!

That's right! You heard it on B98.5 this morning! The Darling's Waterfront Pavillion has their Megaticket again this year and it will give you seats to THREE GREAT CONCERTS! Who do we have lined up for you?

I was foraging for food yesterday morning because I had forgot my breakfast. In our break room here at work, there is basically nothing to eat. However, I DID find some cereal. But did I dare eat it?

It's 145 days til the big day...but who's counting? When thinking about the different places we wanted to go for our honeymoon, Chad and I thought REALLY big and said England. HA HA HA! Then we thought about what we could actually AFFORD and he, being the most awesome man on the planet, said "Why don't we go to Nashville?" I KNEW there was a reason I was marrying this man!

I know deer hunting season isn't coming back for a while. It doesn't mean we can't get our fill of watching deer another way! Chad and I often go on this site just see the what the deer are doing at this particular feeder. We get our daily dose. Chad even once saw the 18 wheeler truck backing up to fill it back up with grain!

Yesterday I was taking it easy on the couch and flipping through channels. It was just about 3 when I saw what was coming up: 'Sister Act'. I hadn't seen that movie in, probably, 10 years. You know music lifts me up. I threw the fuzzy throw over me and settled myself on the couch for 2 and 1/2 hours of pure enjoyment! Do you know how old that movie is? 22 years old! SERIOUSLY? There are some things I watch that gross me out but they are shows I like to watch, like Hoarders, Hoarders: Buried Alive and Dirty Jobs. But I cannot stomach My Strange Addiction. And this time, I think they've gone too far...YUCK!

American Idol premiered last night with good reviews! I can tell you...I KNEW when they added Harry Connick Jr., I was going to be laughing. And I laughed all the way to the end! Especially when he was cradling a contestant while he was singing!   And to top it all off, a New England Patriots cheerleader made it to the 2nd round! YAY PATS!
