Sugar Bowl

College football bowl games start this Saturday with 5 games. The biggest bowl games will be played on January 1st when the playoffs for the National Championship get underway. The two playoff games are Alabama and Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl, Oregon and Florida State in the Rose Bowl.

There couldn’t have been many people that thought the Sugar Bowl would end the way it did. In a stunning upset Oklahoma beat two time national Champion Alabama 45-31. Many thought Alabama was out to prove they still belonged in the National Championship game despite losing to Auburn at the end of the year. Turns out the ranking system got it right.
