Many Mainers are going to head into work a little tired, maybe with a sore throat but with a smile on their face. New England Patriots fans ran the gambit of emotions during Super Bowl XLIV.

Malcolm Butler made a game-saving interception of a Russell Wilson pass at the goal line, and the New England Patriots held on to beat the Seattle Seahawks, 28-24, in Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Ariz. on Sunday.

The actor appeared in a new Super Bowl commercial for Clash of Clans and delivered a monologue that sounds as if it were taken (no pun intended) from one of his shoot-em-up action movies.

So while it’s weird to se Cranston play Heisenberg one more time in an Esurance commercial, it’s not that surprising.

A ‘Fast and Furious’ Super Bowl trailer is almost as much of a tradition as the halftime show at this point. OK, maybe not quite that much, but the past two ‘Fast and Furious’ movies have had their ads, and now ‘Fast and Furious 7’ is here to follow up on that tradition. There are a lot of car commercials during the Super Bowl, but this is THE car commercial.

‘Ted 2’ may have the most relevant Super Bowl trailer there is, mostly because it features a cameo from one of the players actually playing in the Super Bowl. The movie features a cameo from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and he makes an appearance in this new ad.

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest events of the year across the world. So, what better way to celebrate the enormity of the Super Bowl than with giant dinosaurs. That's where ‘Jurassic World’ comes in. This new Super Bowl trailer takes the excitement and curiosity of the original trailer—Chris Pratt and his raptor buddies?—and ramps it up with this new ad.

It's finally the day for the 'big game'! Super Bowl XLIX will kickoff around 6:30 p.m. and many experts are expecting a very close game.

The Super Bowl only comes to town once in a while and it is a good money maker. The nuns at Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in Phoenix are renting rooms for the Big Game. This isn’t the first time they have done this; they tried in 2008 during the Patriots-Giants game and raised $12,600 for their charities.

There has been an urban legend for years that sewage systems in major cities have broken, due to so many people flushing their toilets at half-time of the Big Game. The facts are, there has never been a city’s sewage system overloaded during the game.

So what do the Seattle Seahawks think about deflate-gate? Not much. They say they are not concerning themselves with all the controversy. They know it is a distraction for the Patriots because that’s all the media wants to talk about.

With the big game coming on February 1 there will be a lot of betting going on. From Las Vegas to office polls, people will put a little money down on who will win the game. The game is not the only thing you can bet on though.

I am so tired of hearing about ‘deflate-gate’. Why is it all season everyone was predicting the Patriots will be the team to beat in the AFC, and then when they win the AFC, everyone has to find a flaw in it? The Pats didn’t need to deflate a football to beat the Colts.

We found a Seattle Seahawks fan who took his obsession for Marshawn Lynch to a whole new level. This Seattle native told us he used over 3,000 Skittles and that it took "900 man hours" to create his head-to-toe Skittles-covered suit. Lynch, of course, is well known for his love of the candy...
