Sharknado-6 Coming This Summer

Now that Sharknado is history for another year, next up on the SyFy channel is ‘Lavalantulas’. This Saturday, ancient volcanos erupt in the Santa Monica Mountains which bring death and destruction upon Los Angeles.

Syfy channels ‘Sharknado’ movies have been a surprise hit for the network. There has been a ‘Sharknado 1 & 2, both starring Ian Ziering and Tara Reid. Both stars will return for ‘Sharknado 3’, but some new names have been announced for the next movie.

Move over Sharknado, it’s time for the next horror-comedy from writer-director Leigh Scott, it’s ‘Piranha Sharks’. Sharknado was a surprise, made for T.V., hit on the SyFy channel with a special midnight showing at theatres that pulled in $200,000. Scott is hoping for the same type of success from Piranha Sharks.
