Well, here I am. Doesn't it look lonely?

Ever since this happened, I couldn't wait to tell you all about it. Have you ever had something happen to you that literally takes 10 minutes to sink in? Well, that's what happened to me yesterday while I was eating lunch at a restaurant by myself (we'll talk about that in another blog).

All right, I've just got to vent about my recent experience with the doctor. I've only worked one day this week due to my bronchitis. On Tuesday I was told I would need to be out for two days and be on meds.

Have you ever heard me on the show making fun of the dinky little cupcake Taylor Swift once made me? Look carefully at my most recent chat with her (above) and you can just barely see it. It even has its own microphone!

You may or may not know this, but my faith is very important to me. Today is Good Friday, and the day that Christ died for my sins and yours.

Meet my little 7-year-old buddy, Baxter. He is the happiest, most good-hearted dog I've ever known. As soon as you walk in the door, he will greet you with a smile and make you feel like you're the most important person in the world. I've been dying to introduce him to you ever since I started doing my daily blogs here at Tasteofcountrynights...

TGIF! Meet my friend Teensi. We live for Friday afternoons, because we meet at Red Robin for lunch. I had a salad today, I swear! (OK, nevermind what I ate).

OK, I don't mean to speak negatively about someone who just had a bad car accident -- but this recent news about David Allan Coe got me to thinking about my one and only encounter with him.

Is it weird that I always love to wear shorts, T-shirts and flip flops anywhere I go, no matter what temperature it is outside!? Is it because I'm bear-like?

We made it! Happy weekend! A couple of nights ago on the show, the Band Perry shared with us a few of the embarrassing songs they have on their iPods. Somehow I mentioned I love Sylvia's 'Nobody,' and our phone lines and text blew up!
