With Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, I wanted to thank the listeners for making my job so much fun! I thought I would give you a behind the scenes look of 'The All Request Bee-stro.' It's my favorite part of my job and in the over 12 years that I have been at B98.5, I've become friends with so many of you.

This week, families will come together from all across the nation for Thanksgiving. They will stuff themselves full of turkey, side dishes and desserts. Some will laugh and joke with relatives, while others renew old feuds and bicker with their cousins and siblings. It's that time again. Thanksgiving -- you eat until you're sick, post endless "artsy" photos of your sweet potato gratin on Facebook and drink as much as you can so you can deal with your Uncle Rick. Before descending into pure turkey madness, purvey these memes, and perhaps the memory of them will get you through the annual lecture on what "those politicians up on Capitol Hill"

On Thanksgiving you can count on two things: overeating, and watching a ton of football.

Holiday travel will bring increased traffic to the American highways this Thanksgiving weekend. However, with many families still simply trying to operate day-to-day on shoestring budgets, people are expected to plan shorter trips to carve their turkeys this year as a means to save money on fuel and other expenses.

The price of Thanksgiving is going up this year, but not as much as you might think.

Today is election day and as I was broadcasting live from Goggin's IGA in Randolph this morning, I saw many customers walking into the store with their 'I Voted Today' stickers. I also saw plenty of generous people donating to the 'TANKS'giving food drive.

I have worked at B-98.5 since August 2000 and that November was the first year of 'TANKSgiving' food drive with the Maine Army National Guard. This year could be the coldest 'TANKSgiving' week we've had. On Monday, we kicked things off and I was with the Maine Army National Guard at Shaw's in Waterville.
