This winter has been relatively mild as compared to last winter, but it's still cold, snowy and icy. Mainers usually take winter in stride, but we still rank in the top five as states with the worst winter weather.

With the holidays here, we might partake in some of the holidays spirits. Let's face it, Americans like to drink.  Thrillist.com has complied the least ranking the 50th states on how much we drink. So, where did Maine rank?

Thrillist.com has complied a list of the 'Best Pizzeria In Every State In America'. Pizza can be found just about anywhere, from a corner convenience store to the large pizza chains. So what pizzeria in Maine did they choose?

Thrillist.com has come up with their list of 'The 16 Best Beer Cities In America'. They factored in influence, breweries, history, impact, culture, and maybe some personal bias. Here, for our beer money, are the 16 best beer cities in the US.

I have owned several cars in my lifetime and I have only named two of them. My 1989 Pontiac Firebird was named the Double T. The culture website Thrillist.com came up with their list of 'The 50 Best Driving Songs of All Time.' Country music is represented on the list with The Eagles 'Take It Easy' at # 21 and Willie Nelson came in at #4 with 'On The Road Again'.

The food, travel and culture website Thrillist.com recently published its list of the best movies set in each state. They did pick some classics like “The Godfather” for New York and Clint Eastwood western “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” for New Mexico. “Brokeback Mountain” was named the top choice for Wyoming,  and the horror classic “Jaws” narrowly edged “The Departed” for Massachusetts. However, not all hot dogs are created equal, there are some out there, hidden among the stadiums and food carts of the world, that are fit for a king.
