December 18, 2012 I live so much of my life online. If a business does not have some sort of online offering I often don’t give them a second thought. Even if it is enough to get their phone number and address, I will still look for that information online. Waterville is making it easier for us to get this information about area business with mico-websites. Oh, and they are free.
December 16, 2012 It was the night of Dec 16, 2011 when Ayla’s dad said he put her in her bed. That is the last time anyone says they saw the little 20 month old girl. Friday, the Maine State Police held a news conference to update the situation. They are still following up on leads, the case is still active and they still are looking for Ayla who was last seen in Waterville a year ago. But there are no answers.
December 7, 2012 City officials in Waterville are concerned about the increasing violence and vandalism in the Elm City. Officials are speaking out against the late-night downtown vandalism and violence that has happened recently.
Matthew Partridge of Winslow who allegedly shot a man to death outside the 'You Know Whose Pub' in Waterville Tuesday night is facing a murder charge. He had his initial appearance in Waterville District Court Wednesday. He is charged with shooting to death Justin Smith of China.
December 3, 2012 A second round of renovations could be coming to the Hathaway Center in Waterville. With the development is a renewed interest in the traffic patterns of the Downtown Waterville area.

CASE CLOSED: This afternoon, Officer Dennis Picard charged Heather Folsom, 23 and Brandon Brasher, 24 of Pittsfield for one count (each) of Class C Felony Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer in the Walmart purse theft case featured on this page yesterday. Folsom and Brasher will appear in Kennebec County Superior Court on January 29, 2013 to answer this criminal charge. November 1, 2012 Being the parent of a 6 year old has it's advantages. When I was little, I went trick-o-treating maybe 3 times. And that's when I was around 15. My parents never really let us out of the house. They liked to keep us safe so handing out the candy was our job.
But now that Anderson is at the age where he can carry his own pumpkin, I wanted to really get out there and experience what a Halloween was REALLY like. So Burleigh Street in Waterville was the place to be!

Glenn and Heather Adams were expecting their third child, in fact Heather was overdue. Then it happened early Thursday morning, Heather told her husband that the baby was on the way and it was time to go to the hospital. They didn't make it there. In fact, they only made it the front door of their home.
