The annual 'Tanks'Giving Food Drive is starting on November 2nd. The first 'Tanks'Giving Food Drive started in November 2000 and over the 15 years the tons of food and thousands of dollars have all stayed right here in central Maine.

This year's 'Tanks' Giving will be starting on Monday, November 2nd.

Lots of organizations will be helping in this years food drive.

Thank you again to the Kennebec County Sheriff's Department for joining us again this year. Last year they stepped in after the Maine Army National Guard pulled out of 'Tanks'Giving due to budget reductions.

Here's where we'll be collecting the food.

Monday, November 2nd:
Walmart in Augusta and Shaw's in Waterville
Tuesday, November 3rd:
Goggin's IGA in Randolph and George's Banana Stand in Skowhegan
Wednesday, November 4th:
Shaw's in Augusta and Waterville
Thursday, November 5th:
Walmart in Augusta and Farmington

Thank you to all the stores for allowing us back to collect the non-perishable food donations.

We'll also have the radio station open on Thursday, November 5th for all of the businesses and groups that are collecting food. Drop by the radio station that evening with you donations and a tour of the radio station.

You can also make a monetary donation to 'Tanks'giving online right now.
