#TBT – Ugliest Newborn Turns 16

OH, I just confirmed my spot as a 'PTO Reject' a little more today.  But let's be honest, newborns are U-G-L-Y!  That was my exact reaction when I was handed my first-born.  I looked at the nurses and said 'this isn't my baby'.  But, they assured me he was, so I kept him.  Boy, I'm glad I did...because the ugly wore off after a couple of hours.  

In his defense, he went through a brutal journey, after 22 hours of loooooooooooong labor...his poor lil body couldn't help but be swollen.  (You think he looks bad, you should see my battle scars).  After 16 years, there's no lasting effects from that day of birth...for him anyway.  And he's a pretty alright kid.  #ProudMom
