A High School senior in Nottoway County, Virginia did a good deed realizing someday he may need the favor returned. Tommy Adams was driving back from the DMV with his mother when he saw an elderly man shoveling snow.

He shouted to his Mother to stop the car and explained to her the elderly man was trying to shovel snow while using a walker. Tommy told the man to give him the shovel and get in his car, out of the cold, and he would take care of the snow.

Tommy knew other people must have seen the man struggling but no one stopped to help. It took the teen about 15 minutes to clear the man’s driveway. Tommy got a ‘God bless you, the world needs more people like you’ and Tommy never got the man’s name.

The teen said he did it because someday he will be elderly and may need help too, so he's was glad he was there to assist.
