Thanksgiving is a Moveable Feast

Thanksgiving always falls on the 4^th Thursday in November and this year that's the 24th. This is one of the holiday’s they call a ‘moveable’ feast, it doesn’t have a specific date.

Christmas is on the 25^th, Valentine’s Day the 14^th, New Year’s Day is on the 1^st, and the 4^th of July…you get the idea. The other ‘moveable’ holiday is Easter; it falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the first day of spring.

It doesn’t matter what day Thanksgiving falls on, the meaning remains the same; Thanks for Family, Friends, Food and Football.
