The 14th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championship Is At Sunday River This Weekend

The unofficial kickoff to winter, the Fall Festival takes place at Sunday River on October 12th and 13th. Celebrate with live music, the 14th annual North American Wife Carrying Championship, the Mountain RAID obstacle course, the 30th annual Blue Mountain Arts & Crafts Fair and much more!There's plenty of live local bands on Saturday with 'Pardon Me, Doug', 'Dead Sessions', 'Bold Riley' and 'Tricky Britches'.

There will be Horse Drawn Wagon Rides and kids' games and activities 10 to 4 both days.

There will also be the Chainsaw Woodcarving Demos

Mountain Biking and Scenic Hiking.

Plus a 'Taste of Maine' events with classic lobster rolls!
