The Augusta Police Department Is Investigating An IRS Scam

Augusta PD is investigating an IRS Scam.

According to the Augusta Police Department, the scam involves someone calling the victim to tell them they owe back taxes.  They also claim that, if the victim doesn't return their call, they could face arrest.

Augusta PD says they are investigating.
