The Feztival of Trees
I always love doing something I’ve never done. I did that last night. I went to the seventh annual Feztival of Trees at the Kora Shrine Temple in Lewiston. What an incredible spectacle!
There must have been 50 different Christmas trees decorated by different businesses and schools. Each one had a specific theme whether it was trucks, Hello Kitty, skiing…they were all decorated to the max! You could buy tickets and offer your ticket for that tree. There is one winner for each tree and when you win one, you get everything! The tree, the lights, the decorations, the presents under it…everything!
If you’ve never been, you are missing something beautiful! They have live entertainment each night and also a silent auction. At that auction is the Maine State Lottery tree where it is covered by $500 worth of scratch tickets! Could this Christmas be YOUR lucky one?
Here are some pictures we took last night. Please take time to visit with the kids. The Feztival will be open this Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. It’s $2 for adults and kids under 12 are free!
