The Final Christmas for Sears in Lewiston

This Christmas marked the final Christmas for Sears in the Lewiston Mall. Sears has been in the Lewiston Mall for 34 years and the liquidation sale, which began in October is set to wrap-up by mid-January.

The employees of the Sears in Lewsiton will be notified of openings at other nearby Sears and Kmart stores, which are also owned by Sears Holdings. Employees will have to apply for those positions. After the store closes in Lewiston, that will leave five Sears remaining in Maine.
