Wes Anderson's upcoming 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' has been on our radar for a while. (It is Wes Anderson after all.) Though, aside from it's impressive cast, including Bill Murray, Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman and Saoirse Ronan, we've been wondering what the heck this movie will be about. Seriously. Thankfully, the first actual plot details have been revealed.

For a while, all we new about 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' was that it's set in the late 1920s and was inspired by classic Ernst Lubitsch comedies...so, that's clearly not much to go on. Fortunately, ScreenDaily got a hold of more specific info, hidden within their report of Fox Searchlight acquiring the rights to the film and eyeing a late 2013/early 2014 release.

'The Grand Budapest Hotel' tells of a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars and his friendship with a young employee who becomes his trusted protégé.

The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting, the battle for an enormous family fortune and the slow and then sudden upheavals that transformed Europe during the first half of the 20th century.

Even though we're glad to have an idea of what to expect, we're ultimately more drawn to the Wes Anderson name attached to this. If 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' is anything like his most recent 'Moonrise Kingdom,' we'll probably be more than satisfied with the final product. Not to mention that along with the previously specified celebs, the film also features Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Harvey Keitel, Jude Law, Willem Dafoe and Owen Wilson.
